Halloween Costume Distribution

Last November in collaboration with the Pierpaoli Family of Rhode Island, Spartan Kids Foundation was able to help distribute 27,000 halloween costumes to community centers, YMCA’s, Hospitals, and Military Bases across the country. The project involved many partners and supporters committed to the healthy development of children. Aroo!!

Spartan Kids Foundation Hosts almost 1,000 Kids at 2017 Fenway, So. Cal and Central Florida Races.

Working closely with local schools, Boys & Girls Clubs and YMCA’s, the Spartan Kids Foundation made it possible for kids (and their parents) in Boston (11/04) Central Florida (12/9-10), and Southern California (12/9-10) to enjoy one of the best days of their lives as participants in their respective local Spartan Kids Races as guests of the Foundation. The outreach programs in all three states were supported by the local economic development councils and sports marketing associations. As Jason Howell, a parent and teacher from Fla said: “Thanks, Spartan! My daughter loved it and is ready to do it again!”

Obstacle and endurance race makes leap into Lambeau

Organizers have also forged a partnership with Special Olympics Wisconsin. The Spartan Kids Foundation says it will donate 300 race entries to be used by Special Olympics to help generate charitable donations.

THE JIMMIE JOHNSON FIT FEST MARKS THE JIMMIE JOHNSON FOUNDATION’S FIRST COLLABORATION WITH THE SPARTAN FOUNDATION AND SPARTAN KIDS RACE

The Spartan Kids Race features double-digit obstacles crafted to instill adventure, courage, camaraderie and a sense of accomplishment. There was a heat for the Special Spartans, children with intellectual or developmental disabilities, and those with cognitive learning or vocational delays. The Spartan Kids Foundation and The Jimmie Johnson Foundation share common goals to improve children’s health and well-being.

SPECIAL ATHLETES SHOW OFF SPARTAN STRENGTH AT CITI FIELD

Dozens of people with developmental disabilities took on The Spartan Race in May 2017 at Citi Field creating awareness for autism and Autism Speaks, which will lead to better understanding and acceptance of autism spectrum disorders.

HOUSTON SPARTAN RACE AND SHRINERS HOSPITALS FOR CHILDREN CONQUER OBSTACLES TOGETHER

In February, Houston was the first city that the Spartan Kids Foundation worked within this new fundraising model. The initiative aims to raise awareness and funds for SHC while giving young patients with orthopedic conditions the opportunity to compete in the race and discover their ability to conquer physical obstacles.
